Alpha Delta Pi expects that each of its members will be committed to high academic standards and will exemplify that commitment through classroom attendance and performance. Gamma Mu provides educational programs, chapter and campus resource information, and motivation and recognition programs. We are committed to a legacy of learning to help members prepare for the future and create a desire to continue learning throughout their lifetime.
Each member must maintain a minimum GPA and are encouraged to build strong, positive relationships with their professors. The women of this chapter achieve academic excellence year after year and currently have the highest collective GPA out of all the sororities on campus. Every new member is required to complete a certain number of study hours and, once initiated, must complete study hours based on GPA.
The members of Alpha Delta Pi are recognized and rewarded for their academic success through an incentive program. At the 2010 Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards, Alpha Delta Pi was awarded the highest sorority GPA for a GPA of 3.23!!
Alpha Delta Pi recognizes the respect deserved by the wonderful faculty of Missouri State University for everything they do. Every fall the chapter holds a Faculty Appreciation Night to honor the professors that have made an impact on the women's lives.
