New Member Education Program

    Welcome Home to

    Alpha Delta Pi

It is the job of the New Member Coordinator to coordinate chapter participation in a meaningful way so that the Alpha member experience is enriching and rewarding. Alpha members are Alpha Delta Pi's next generation and special care is required to provide a quality experience for them.

The New Member Coordinator also coordinates the Bid Day activities every fall and spring to welcome in our Alpha members!

  • <> Alpha Member Education Program <>

Also known as Alpha education sessions, is a 6-week long program and consists of six educational sessions with of the following goals:

<> To instill a sense of pride, loyalty, love, and respect for Alpha Delta Pi

<> To develop individuals who are well-informed about the history, organization, and activity of the sorority at the local and international levels

<> To provide opportunities for interaction with members, integration into the chapter, and relate lifelong commitment to sisterhood

<> To encourage development of responsible behavior and mature action in each individual, and to provide each member with an opportunity for personal growth

<> To provide an atmosphere and program encouraging high scholastic achievement

  • <>Diamond Sisters<>

The goal of the Diamond Sister Program is to support building a one-on-one relationship between a little and her big. Big Diamond Sisters serve as both resources and role modles to the Alpha members during the pre-initiation period.

It is important to recognize that new members in Alpha Delta Pi are not ever refered to as pledges. Our new members are considered Alpha members because they have the same rights as initiated members in chapter events such as meetings.
