Dear Family, Friends, and Alumnae,
My name is Aubriana Perez and I am the 2011 president of the Gamma Mu chapter of Alpha Delta Pi and I am so honored! I am from the St. Louis area, more specifically Lake St. Louis. I went to Wentzville Holt High School. Currently, I am a sophomore and live in the Alpha Delta Pi house. I can honestly say there is never a dull moment living with 60+ sisters, but it is absolutely amazing! My major is biology with chemistry minor, and I hope to go on to dental school after I graduate from Missouri State. This past year, I served as the Junior Pan-Hellenic delegate for Alpha Delta Pi. It was a great position because it opened my eyes to the rest of the Greek community. Moving from that position to President is a HUGE step, but I’m couldn’t be more excited!
Over the past semester we have had many great accomplishments. We have the highest new member GPA with 3.24, most 4.00s with 24, and most philanthropic money donated with $2,535. Also, Natasha Tatoian (Fall 07) was crowned 2010-2011 Missouri State Homecoming Queen. More recently, we had the most money raised out of any student organization for the Up ‘Til Dawn letter writing campaign during homecoming.
This year, we have a pretty young executive board, but that just shows what great women we have been recruiting! We already have a lot of good ideas and goals for the year. Some things that we would like to start would be mass texting within the chapter and make better use of committees and prides.
This semester, we have a lot to look forward to!
The annual Teeter-Totter-a-thon is scheduled for April 2nd, Greek Week will be at the end of March, and will be also be having our Crush and Black Diamond formals later this semester. In preparation for Greek Week, we will be having dance try-outs for Greek Jam January 17-18 and practices will begin soon after.
Loyally,

Aubriana Perez
President, 2010-2011
